JULIA KOTS

Julia Kots is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and a refugee from Ukraine. Her first narrative feature film, Inez & Doug & Kira, was released in 2020. Julia has worked as an editor for the past 17 years, including 15 years for Thirteen/PBS. Julia holds an MFA from Columbia Film School and a BA from Yale. She is an Assistant Professor of film production at Montclair State University.

DAVID MAKADI
ANIMATOR

David Makadi is an animator from the Democratic Republic of Congo, who is the first international recipient of FIT’s Social Justice Scholarship. David has animated short films for the Stanford School of Medicine, CBA Studios and the Heidelberg University Institute of Global Health.

BEN WOLF

Ben Wolf is a DP, director, and owner of Brooklyn-based film production company Topiary Productions, Inc.  A graduate of Yale (BA) and Columbia (MFA), he works world-wide in all genres, including documentary, commercial, and fiction film-making. His first feature film, Changing Lanes, is distributed by First Run Films.

Lambert is a Berlin-based pianist, composer, and producer whose works spans orchestrated works, jazz, experimental scores, and cross-genre projects with artists such as Dekker and Stimming. He has scored films, Hedi Schneider Steckt Fest, The Darkest Days of Us, Inez & Doug & Kira, Miss Beautiful, and Alles in Bester Ordnung.
